Everyone deserves access to leisure and recreational activities – to promote self-esteem, increase independence and enhance well-being.
EXPLORE. REACH. CONNECT.
With more than 600 programs – from fitness to crafting, summer day camp to aquatics, and sports to performing arts – FVSRA is the place to make friends, experience new activities and become part of a supportive community.
Through athletic feats, social outings and community integration, FVSRA helps participants develop life skills, socialize with peers, improve self-awareness, engage in the community, experience enjoyment and satisfaction.
With SootheSpace, people with disabilities – and their family and friends – will have a safe space where light, texture and sound create an ideal environment for recentering. Our hope is that SootheSpace will be as common as first aid tents or kits, so people of all abilities can maximize their enjoyment and attendance at community events without getting overstimulated or having to leave early. FVSRA Fees and Scholarships
Based on the availability of funds, FVSRA has developed a comprehensive program to assist individuals and/or families. We believe every resident should have the opportunity to participate in FVSRA services.
If you need financial assistance, please submit the Scholarship Application to the office prior to registering for camp or general programs. Review our Scholarship Policy or call us at (630) 907-1114 to learn more.
Need Help Finding the Perfect Program or Activity?
You’ve browsed our current brochure and think you’ve found the right program for your child or family member. Now what? Because there are many things to consider when choosing a program where participants will reach their full potential, we encourage families to schedule an initial participation assessment to assist in meeting their goals before enrolling. Schedule your assessment today by contacting FVSRA at 630.907.1114 or at info@FVSRA.org.
FVSRA programs are located all throughout the Fox Valley region from Oswego to South Elgin. We have updated our program locations with a goal of 15-20 minutes to the program location or transportation location for our residents to make our programs feel a bit closer to home!
