From fitness to crafting, summer day camp to aquatics, and sports to performing arts – there’s something for everyone at FVSRA. Additionally, we collaborate with the staff at our Member Agencies to ensure an inclusive experience if you enroll in their programs.

The mission of FVSRA is to empower people with disabilities to participate in therapeutic recreation and leisure activities, which are essential to a rich life.

For more than 45 years, we have ensured equitable access to leisure and recreation activities for people of all ages and abilities.

Fox Valley Special Recreation Association (FVSRA) was formed in 1976 and is an extension of the Batavia, Fox Valley, Geneva, Oswegoland, St. Charles, Sugar Grove Park Districts, and South Elgin Parks & Recreation Department to provide a diverse range of year round recreational activities to enable residents with disabilities to experience active, healthy, and fulfilling lifestyles. FVSRA is the place to make friends, experience new activities, and become part of a supportive community!
