Virtual Recreation Programming
FVSRA is RE-CREATING how we RECREATE. With a little adaptation and a lot of creativity, we have launched a series of virtual recreation programs to empower the individuals we serve to stay connected.
What is “Virtual Recreation”?
Our programming uses Zoom, a video conferencing platform that enables participants to see and hear one another in real time. FVSRA has a whole line up of social, cultural, and fitness programs that are led by our staff.
What type of technology is required?
Participants will need to have access to the internet and a computer with a built in web camera or a web camera attachment. Our programs can also be accessed using a smart phone or tablet by downloading the free Zoom app. Click here to download.
Who can register?
Our virtual recreation programs are designed for FVSRA participants and family members. Participants must have a current Annual Information Form (AIF) on file. If you are new or need a new AIF please contact our Outreach Coordinator, Jennifer Wisneski at to get started.
How do I register?
View our calendar below to see our current programming options. Select your preferred program, the dates you would like to register for, and follow the prompts. Once you submit your registration, you will receive a confirmation email verifying your enrollment and a unique link to access the program.
What else should I know?
All of our virtual recreation programs are FREE!
Registration closes 1 hour prior to the start of the program.
Most programs are 30 minutes, but the specific duration is noted in all program descriptions.
All participants are expected to abide by FVSRA's Code of Conduct which is detailed out on our registration form.
