FVSRA Program Updates
Updated: Mar 17
Updated: 3/13/2020 (5:25pm)
FVSRA is canceling all programs and activities following the completion of programs on Friday, March 13, 2020.
I want to begin this message by letting you know that there are no known cases of COVID-
19 among the FVSRA participants or staff. We are executing this plan under abundance of caution and with the health and safety of our participants, staff and community in mind.
Although some schools or Member Agency Park and Recreation Districts/Departments may remain open as COVID-19 impacts their buildings, we are cancelling all FVSRA programs at this time starting after the completing of programs on Friday, March 13 anticipating opening on Monday, April 6th.
FVSRA will continue to work closely with local city, school, and health department authorities to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and will re-evaluate the situation and inform the community of any decisions. Should there be a confirmed case of COVID-19 by one of our participants or staff, we will assess the situation and make decisions about further closings.
We will update you frequently through the blog on our website (fvsra.org) as this situation and the recommendations are changing rapidly. We want you to know that we are committed to being as responsive as we can to new information that is shared with us. All decisions are being made with the safety and well-being of our participants, staff and community in mind.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this situation together.
All programs during the time of the closure will be refunded via a credit to the account or a refund back to the credit card used at time of transaction. Please allow a few weeks for the refunds to be processed.
We urge all residents to follow the CDC’s tips by staying home if sick; avoiding close contact with people who are sick; covering coughs and sneezes; avoiding touching eyes, nose and mouth; and washing hands with soap and water.
Thank you for your cooperation,
