What We Offer Adult Day Programs

FVSRA offers a variety of Adult Day Program options to meet your individual needs.  The overarching goal of the Day Programs are to improve each participant’s quality of life by maximizing their independence and developing new abilities. Goals are met by providing opportunities for fitness, volunteerism, and community exploration.

There are four Day Break locations throughout the Fox Valley region with programs Mon – Thurs from 9am-3pm. The are three Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists who help design and facilitate the program along with other FVSRA staff. This is a private-pay program – state funding is not eligible for payment.

STARS (Structured Therapeutic Adult Recreation Services) is a Community Day Services program collaboration with the Association for Individual Development. There are three locations in the southern Kane county region. FVSRA Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists curate a curriculum under the AID staff execution to meet the individual goals of each participant.  This program accepts both private-pay and state funding payments.
