Breckenridge Ski Trip
Do you know how to ski or wish to learn? Experienced instructors from Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC) will guide you with adaptive equipment and prompts at any skier’s level. BOEC is known for their accessible outdoor adventure programs, compassionate staff, personalized attention, and overall determination to help others overcome challenges. The trip will consist of 3 ski days and relaxation at a fully accessible log cabin lodge. Participants will have the chance to help with cooking and cleaning while sharing space with others.
The goals of this program are to increase independence, knowledge, and skills of downhill skiing and social awareness while participating in lifelong leisure activities.
If medication will be administered during the program, please turn in the Permission to Dispense form and medications prior to the program.
This program is designed for participants who need minimal assistance in activities of daily living.
This program is active in nature and will require physical exertion.
A packet of information for the trip will be sent to participants.
Participants will be sleeping in individual beds but in rooms by gender. Individual rooms may not be available on this trip as we are staying in a log cabin.
