Adult Day Programs

Day Break

Day Break Adult Day Programs strive to improve each participant’s quality of life by maximizing his/her independence while improving each person’s current level of functioning. These goals are met by providing opportunities for community integration through various activities and volunteer outings.


Day Break One

  • 1:6 staff to participant ratio

  • Independent of all daily living skills

  • Need minimal support to participate in activities and outings

  • Estimated 12 participants per day


Day Break Two

  • 1:2 staff to participant ratio

  • Need moderate assistance with all daily living skills

  • Need moderate support to participate in activities and outings

  • Five staff to support up to 8 participants

Structured Therapeutic Adult Recreation Services (STARS) is a year-round community-based program for adults with disabilities. Through a partnership with the Association for Individual Development (AID) and Fox Valley Special Recreation Association (FVSRA), this program will provide activities that address key areas of learning in community integration, recreation and independent living skills.
